Starling Lane is one of Victoria’s most sought after wedding venues, located outside of Victoria, B.C., just off of Old West Saanich Road. Starling Lane is surrounded by old vineyards and a slew of vast, beautiful farmlands. This venue is equipped with anything you could ever dream of for your wedding: heritage buildings, antique barns, rose gardens and a glorified white wooden beam greenhouse (straight out of my dreams). If you’re planning your wedding at Starling Lane, know that it offers both indoor and outdoor seating arrangements, so if you’re concerned about the weather on your big day, take peace knowing that you’re *literally* covered in case of rain. This venue offers both on site ceremony and reception areas from the old rustic barn, to the glass greenhouse, to the open field next to the gardens.

One of the many perks of this charming venue is that it offers a diverse array of picturesque vistas for photos - there is no need to venture off site. There is a variety of areas from the tall Gary Oak trees, to the open grass fields, to the romantic greenhouse, to the vine laden barns. Starling Lane Vineyards dates back to the 19th century and has attained heritage status, so rest assured that its rustic charm will be instilled throughout your day.

If you’re planning on getting ready nearby, there is a quaint little cottage on site for one of your bridal parties to prepare for your big day. Starling lane also provides parking for all your guests at the venue, as well as the appropriate facilities if you’re wanting to bring in caterers.

I loved shooting Emma + Dane’s wedding at Starling Lane, as the venue provided a timeless & romantic elegance, with an old world, rustic flair. With such a wide variety of locations on site for photos, I truly can’t wait to shoot another wedding here again!
