If there's one thing that fills my heart to the brim, it's capturing the real, raw, and beautiful moments from a couple’s wedding day. So, let me take you on a journey to Madison and Tycho's unforgettable wedding at the stunning Brentwood Bay Resort, located just outside of Victoria, BC.

Picture this: the gentle breeze off the bay, the lush greenery, and the sound of waves in the background. As their wedding photographer, I was lucky enough to document all the laughter, happy tears, and sweet moments that unfolded throughout their day.

Coming from a large family and a deeply rooted friend group, the entire day felt like a big, giant, happy reunion that I was stoked to be a part of. Everyone was warm & welcoming, and I simply felt like one of the gang. Which always leads to the best photos.

Their ceremony was intimate & heartfelt. The reception was A blend of celebration, fun, and connection. Friends and family shared stories, raised toasts, and danced the night away.. The joy was contagious.

Madison & tycho first met way back in 2010 at UBC. While it took a few years for their friendship to blossom into a relationship, their foundation is certainly stronger because of it. They spend a lot of time outdoors, enjoy hiking, camping, surfing & skiing. ultimately what came through most while getting to know these two, is how much they enjoy each others’ company. Their love for one another feels effortless and genuine.

Madison & tycho’s wedding was located in the Arbutus Room, which is brentwood bay’s primary event space. it has tall windows that overlook the bay and open up to a spacious patio where the ceremony was held.
